Casper looks a bit like a Dalmatian with his white coat and black spots, although his body shape doesn’t look very Dalmatian-like. He’s a big, playful brute of a dog but a total softy – he gets on well with children and loves going to the beach or to sit on a sunny terrace with volunteers and behaves extremely well, having lost the shyness he suffered from when he first arrived. Unfortunately Casper suffers from a type of bone cancer but despite this he leads a normal doggy life, running and playing as if nothing was wrong. Casper has a very special relationship with one of our volunteers because he’s one of those very special dogs.
